I think it’s worth considering, but in moderation. In any case, accepting human life as an absolute value is impossible for me. At least because, throughout their lives, people gradually become less human. Well, the death penalty should, perhaps, teach people to weigh their actions and the punishment for them. However, it is unlikely to work – people tend to think more in terms of the present than the future.
