I confirm, you can't win against such a strong opponent, although it seemed like I was doing well. I managed to get to the second dungeon, defended it, and cleared out 2 small treasure rooms. I didn't find any good artifacts, except for a +3 to all stats item that cost over 20 giants, which wasn't useful. In the Fortress, 105 elves and 37 combat units were stationed. Thanks for the game!
