the parameters of the chess timer are 60.08.00, this is not a chess timer, it doesn't put any pressure at all.
It shouldn't put any pressure. For example, for Jebus, 60+8+0 is practically a complete analogy to the 9 minutes of a standard SOD timer, while saving approximately 1.5 hours of real time. It is quite possible to play with 45+8+1 without compromising the quality of the game; the problem is that many players are still hesitant to play with a chess timer, so you have to persuade them to play at least with 60+8...
perhaps Maretti has the optimal parameters.
That's not true; allocating 10 minutes for EACH match is a bit much. He himself admits that the time per match could be reduced; he just feels more comfortable this way)
what will happen in FB?
I assume this refers to a match between players. In this case, the timer doesn't tick. And I think this is justified for now).
