Yes, nothing special. In reality, functions with variables are quite simple and don't require extensive scripting knowledge, but frequent use of them can easily lead to confusion and burden the game. I'm not that proficient in this area, so I do it this way. However, I'm not denying the fact that there are simpler methods than mine.
