I haven't played much with Rampart, I played through the elf upgrade, ignoring the warriors (although their hideout was right in front of me). I took 2 knight units (I messed up with the third), they were in the castle, grabbed 25 grand units in the pandora. GO - dragons, spirits. In the treasure room, I snatched the Lion's Sword from under his nose, and then brazenly attacked with Ivor (if I had bracers or +1 to speed, it would have been a win). I grabbed a helmet +12 to knowledge and retreated home. Here, the opponent makes a royal gift - he can't take the fifth-level hat, the scout takes it, another attack on Kreg, while Ivor replenishes mana, the guys fly to the outpost for a console. Knowing that Kreg has no mana, I look for an encounter and find it. There are a lot of stats and parameters, but no mana - and the remaining stack of knights blinds, slows down, I knock out everything except the slow, blindness, and GG.
Thanks for the game, the opponent had everything great - he probably took advantage of the only chance to win.
