There isn't any description there about why there will be fewer games if my proposal is adopted in the rules.
There are a bunch of arguments, but it's unclear what specifically follows from them.

There will be fewer games simply because there will be a restriction that does not allow playing a new game until the previous one is completed!

Damn. Where did you read about such a restriction? Can you quote it?

If someone really wants to play with someone, why can't they play? EXPLAIN? Are they in prison?

That's finally a good point.
