Play more fun games for rating. Start with beginners. Don't jump right into playing against experienced players, as it won't be very rewarding. Then, gradually, you'll start to understand what's what, your level will increase, and you'll feel your strength.
And it's also good to watch streams, as they contribute to improvement. But the most important thing is personal practice. The more, the better.
