Full restart and a lucky shuffle. The native respawn is poor on gold, but the Griffin Conservatory is revealed. I immediately go for the Inferno secondary. By the time I reached and took it, I nearly lost the entire stack of Gnolls due to nasty guards. From two respawns I barely scraped together enough for Vivi in the citadel. The main hero isn't leveling properly, no gold... everything is bad. Bought the growth with an exchange down to zero. Picked up the Flail +4, Boots, and headed for the underground secondary, but news of the forfeit arrives. The opponent died in the conservatory. Just lucky.

There was a very high chance the birds wouldn't even rebuild by the second week. The only income structures left were Naga Banks. The army was 30 Water Elementals, 27 Air Elementals, 118 Skeletons. The Naga Banks would have been tough, mass magic is under-leveled. I gave up and dove into the Conservatory on the third. And there I stayed. Fools... All I needed was to refill Nimus's mana, and even with Advanced Earth, the Conservatory was doable. With losses, but doable.
And what losses, damn it. With Advanced Earth - 14 Skeletons, 17 Air Elementals, 3 Water Elementals, and the meat shield. Frustrating.
