Confirmed! After a long break, it's hard to perform at my best in the game, and my opponent had a significantly better setup... But it was interesting! :smile43:
Week 1
I recruited 20 Archers and 50 Spearmen (level 2 dwelling not built), led by Tyris. Next to the castle, there was a stable – I was glad and immediately sent all the heroes there. Then I noticed a large group (50+ Fire Elementals) guarding the Golden Bow and blocking the way to the secondary castle guard (20+ Ogres); I could bypass them, but I didn't attack. Gold and resources are being gathered, and monster squads are being destroyed along the way. There's also a decent amount of gold – 50+ Psychic Elementals. I barely find a tree to build a Hippodrome in the Stronghold (the mine was cut off by the terrain and guarded by 20+ Archers; it was taken on day 117). There are a total of 5 heroes; Tyris is level 4 (water magic + logistics) and spends the night in the castle. I noticed 2 hives, 1 Conservatory, 2 crypts, and medusa lairs. Due to the terrain, I had to set goals more clearly to spend action points more efficiently.
Week 2
Sir Mullich arrives, and I decide to make him the main hero, with Tyris as his assistant. Tyris breaks through 2 crypts and returns. On day 124, Mullich takes the Pandora's Box, worth 10k experience, guarded by Ogres (91 of them):
"...We were somewhat taken aback by their numbers, but the knightly spirit of our warriors overcame fear. 26 Archers, along with the Orcs who joined us, fell bravely, destroying more than half of these creatures and those fighting in melee. Champions finished off the weakened, spearmen held the line. When the battle ended, the entire field was littered with the bodies of our enemies and our soldiers. May the earth be their bed, and their souls go to the Kingdom of Heaven! Amen!.."
Only 4 Champions and 21 Spearmen remain. Mullich is level 10 (water + attack). The secondary castle guard in the Dungeon is broken through, and Mullich encounters a group (20+ Gorgons) blocking the way to the Necropolis and guarding the Pandora's Box. I had to attack; the Pandora's Box contained 10k gold, and only 4 Champions remained. The secondary castle was taken, and a Capitol was built in the main city, along with a Castle. There are 7 heroes; Sir Mullich is level 11, and Tyris is level 6.
Week 3
Sir Mullich breaks through 100+ Fire Elementals (Golden Bow). Tyris takes the hive in the Dungeon; Mullich takes the hive near the gold mine and the Conservatory, which gives +3 Angels. Then the army split: Tyris rushed upwards for the hive and additional resources, and Sir Mullich moved downwards towards the second Conservatory and gold. By the end of the week, I managed to build the Portal of Angels. There are 8 heroes; Sir Mullich is level 14 with artifacts for luck and +2 attack, and Tyris is level 9.
Week 4
On day 142, Tazar and his forces break through 3 guards in my zone (not the gold mine). My army is scattered: Mullich has 4 Angels, Tyris has 7 Champions, 23 Wyverns, and 9 Crusaders, and the reinforcements have all the purchased troops. Tyris and the reinforcements join forces. The scout doesn't reach Kaitlin. On day 143, she easily kills the scout with two Angels and waits for the Angels of Mullich to join the next day. But then Tazar unexpectedly reaches Kaitlin (logistics + stable), and the army collapses:
"...My reconnaissance reported that reinforcements joining my forces were defeated. They say that there were about a hundred Lizards and more than 60 Orc warriors. In addition, their main leader, Tazar, is skilled in the art of combat and defense. It's a pity that it turned out this way..."
Mullich is left with only 4 Angels. Tyris bought her way out (while blocking Kaitlin) and remained in the castle, where she was finished off by a wave of death.
Stratte, thank you for the game! I gained a lot of experience! There's something to improve and fix in the strategy and tactics for the next games with Castle! :smile20:
