The force field trick is an old one; I remember seeing Singing Heart use it years ago, protecting his gold units in the final stages of Divided Loyalties against Antal, or someone like that. That was about twelve years ago. He always leveled up Melody. But it's usually hard to implement in a random game, so thanks, Myduck! You refreshed my memory! Maybe I'll try it out sometime.
