"Новичок SUMMER-2013"

We offer the best newcomers in this tournament to compete against our top players. We've never done anything like this before, but if it works out, we will continue it in the future.
This will take the form of a team tournament – a team of newcomers – New Players (abbreviated as NP) versus a team called Legends and Myths (abbreviated as LM).

In the team format, every result will be important for both teams.
It is no secret that the level of newcomers has increased significantly thanks to broadcasts and the abundance of information available. Therefore, I personally am not sure about the total superiority of our veterans and I won’t venture to predict the overall outcome of the competition.

The main thing is that newcomers are given the opportunity to test their skills against the pros, feel like part of a team, and... possibly improve their position in the group.

How are the teams formed?

New Players. A newcomer who scores 2 points during the group stage automatically joins the team. So far, there are already 3 players on this team: Iamsamstan, cuc9ctblu, The_. And the team will grow throughout the tournament and will consist of approximately 20-25 players.

Legends and Myths. Here, the roster will be "flexible"; players who have the opportunity to play in July will participate in the team. Each player will submit a list of templates they are willing to play with NP.

What should a newcomer do?

1. Score 2 points during the group stage. After that, he automatically joins the New Players team.
2. Choose one player from the Legends and Myths list, contact this player, agree on a game, and play. If it is not possible to arrange a game, NP can choose another player from the LM list. But he can only play once!
3. Write a report on the forum and receive a bonus in case of victory.

What are the rules of the game?

NP chooses a template from the list offered by LM, on which he wants to play. NP chooses the color they want to play with. If NP chooses blue, then they start destroying castles; if red, then LM starts destroying castles.
The rules are standard for this tournament – new season rules, restarts total 3 days.

How will the results be counted?

Players on the NP team will have double scoring. Personal result - in the group stage table; in case of victory over an LM player, 1.5 points will be added, in case of a draw - 1 point.
In the framework of the team tournament, 1 point is awarded to the team for winning a match, both teams get 0.5 points for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.

All current information about this mini-tournament will be at the beginning of the topic. There, NP players can find a list of those LM players who are ready to play at that moment.
