What the heck is up with these passwords? I was recently playing with someone, and after the game, we exchanged passwords, both copying them from text files. But it just wouldn't work. It was awful. I even wrote a letter to the support team, attaching the save file, but before I hit send, I had a thought: what could it be? And I realized that there might be a space at the end of the password (the only explanation I could think of for why he was so sure he copied the password correctly from the text file, but it still didn't work, and I had already checked my own password multiple times). So, I added a space to the end of the password, and, lo and behold, the passwords worked! I suggested that he carefully check his text file to see if there was a space at the end. He smiled and said, "Yes, there is." P.S. But the thing is, I had some doubts about this person, and I was confident that he was capable of copying the password from the text file without errors. In general, there's no such guarantee, of course.
