The chess timer gives you time for the battle, which is only added as long as the battle hasn't ended.

So, if you're given 1 minute for a battle and you spend half a minute on it, then half a minute will be deducted after the battle ends.

Maybe it is about that. Doesn't the timer reflect the actual remaining time? Although, after some short battles, time is sometimes deducted from the timer, and sometimes it isn't. And it's exactly a minute or half a minute. This seemed strange to me. And is Quick Battle beneficial or not – does the battle add time or not? I don't understand anything now :confused:
