It is no secret that the organizers will primarily focus on the level of play: on the one hand, participants must be online PLAYERS, i.e., they need to know quite a lot (for example, game rules) and possess technical skills; on the other hand, the level of play should not be too high; let's call it "beginner" as defined in the regulations. Undoubtedly, much here will depend on the subjective opinion of the organizers, but we cannot avoid this. We all have a long way to go, and ideally, the process should proceed without major problems. There are other tournaments for players who have “outgrown” this tournament, and those who have just registered and started playing can significantly improve their game over six months and participate in the next Новичок-зима tournament.
