Numerous restarts, both players had terrible spawns with a lot of blockers, but I managed to "control" mine better, gathered 20 vipers and 2 angels, and was building up a stack of knights with a nymph (although I had less than 100 skeletons left). After a "draw" in auto-combat, I received a message about another loss... the opponent insisted on writing a report immediately, thanks for the game.
