Explain to me why you are so categorical about this issue?
It seems that you have been rushed so often that you are offended by RR.
It immediately brings to mind the phrase "I haven't read Pasternak, but I condemn it."

I have never been re-rushed, but there have been cases on 8mm6a of a complete exchange of armies and the game continuing. Which, with RR canceled and control in place, would be fatal. (although here, ambushes can also be fatal, but you still need to gather your forces)
And I don't see any reason to cancel it; I think it fairly balances the odds.
