Then, instead of criticizing one of the scenarios, we should compare the two. How would the game results change if the rule prohibiting red rushes in this tournament were in effect? Would it be the same, but in one specific game, red wouldn't have red-rushed blue with an overpowered strategy against which nothing could be done? Then, what's the point of playing without the rule prohibiting red rushes? If the presence of the ban has as little impact on most games as its absence, except for individual overpowered situations where blue is simply doomed?
