Favorite characters.

I realized that among my favorite characters, I only listed foreign ones, although there are many Russian characters that I like as well. Dmitry Nekhlyudov from "Resurrection." He is strong, persistent, and not grotesque, unlike Rakhmetov or Bazarov. He is a very realistic character, and I have met people like him. Leonid Brezhnev from "Small Land." He is wise, reliable, brave, and decent. He is completely different from the frail old man who stood on the podium during holidays. Lobasty, Kurnosy, and Suvorov from Vasily Shukshin's "How a Man Ferried a Wolf, a Goat, and Cabbage Across a River." Kuznetsov from Bondarev's "Hot Snow." Matryona from Solzhenitsyn's "Matryona's Home."
