Wow, I played as the Elves, and found a lot of good and not-so-good things =)
Appearance:
- Ents - I liked them! They look powerful and "substantial".
- Unicorns - a bug =( The icon of the silver unicorn is almost indistinguishable from the icon of the ordinary unicorn. Both unicorns on the icons are white, but in reality, the silver unicorn has the appropriate color! =(
- It's very unusual to look at the "path of movement" from below - all of them are pointy-eared and have similar faces - at first, it's very easy to get confused...
- I liked the little dragons - they're not bad =)
Tactics:
- No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find the "sworn enemies" I had designated on the map =). Therefore, I couldn't test the ability, but that's okay.
- Ents are, in my opinion, overpowered... They have an incredibly large amount of HP, a decent attack, a quite good speed, average initiative, and when upgraded and in a defensive state, their defense is simply incredibly high... IMO, with such HP, the Ent should be made slower or at least have a lower initiative, or at least a weaker attack... Seriously, who has 170+ HP at level 6?? 8)
- Wardancers are terribly weak - they are rarely used. IMO, the "No Retaliation" ability should be removed from the un-upgraded Fae and given to the upgraded Wardancers; then it would be much more fun and better =)
- It's interesting that the damage from the Bee Swarm ability of the Fae is so insignificant that it is used even less often than Cleansing. At the same time, sometimes there is no other option, and you don't want to waste the Fae...
Overall, the race is interesting =). I enjoyed playing as them...
