Outcast's Path

Hello everyone!
Has anyone encountered a problem where the game crashes during save loading? I have the OutcastLight version, and I've progressed quite far. I only saved on one quicksave, so I don't have a choice – either start over (which is unlikely), or do nothing. But I really want to finish the game; the map is interesting!!!
