We used all the resets, including a couple for the block. The start gave us Grindan, which was certainly pleasing, but no decent heroes were coming in. One side was blocked by 50-99 Grand Elves and several ranged guards, but Mrs. Fish with expert Tactics solved the problem. Freed my native hero — Erdamon with expert Tactics. Decided with 18 Air Elementals and single Fairies to attack the guard of a Dragon Fly Hive of 20 Dendroid Guards; they killed all the single units on morale, and I nearly lost there, but crawled out with 9 Air Elementals. The Dragon Fly Hive had 8 Wyverns, which helped a lot later. Found an external dwelling of Phoenixes behind 20-49 Snipers; decided to take it on day 7 with the Birds. Very much gold, around 30k on day 115. A scout hero deep in the respawn found a Griffin Conservatory and checked it — a two-week respawn, with two Dragon Fly Hives nearby. Grindan headed there. On day 117 I took the external dwelling of Phoenixes and wanted to dive into the Griffin Conservatory. Then a funny moment happened. Grindan needed to level up Expert Earth Magic, and I was counting on a chest, but it gave a Pendant of Death (which took the slot of a Pendant of Speed in the Griffin Conservatory). Fortunately, I needed about 188 experience to reach level 5, which I got from Gremlins. Took the Griffin Conservatory (Grindan got Literacy), positioned at the Dragon Fly Hives, home Birds in the Fort. On day 121 I started with the Stables and splitting Grindan home. Took 3 Dragon Fly Hives in a chain, but they were small. The next day I took another Dragon Fly Hive, a Pandora's Box with Grand Elves that was blocking the respawn — it gave 30 Fish. Bought Geddit, who took a Griffin Conservatory (also a two-week respawn) and got Earth Magic. The GO was very unpleasant — Red Dragons. I wanted to break them with Resurrection, but not in time. Grindan attacks the GO, there are 25 Red Dragons with Haste; the bot auto-resolves poorly, and Blackies first targeted the Birds. I thought it was all over... However, Mass Shield, Stone Skin, and the Black Dragons' desire to snack on the Ballista saved that fight. On level-up, I was offered a wonderful choice: Basic Eagle Eye or Basic Navigation.... Captured the Rampart and settled in for a speed run. The next day I built the Mana Vortex, which really helped. Set up GM4, and it gave Town Portal. Schooled Resurrection and Town Portal — life became easier, and with the Mana Vortex things went well. The guards were tough, but 15+15 Monks from a Pandora's Box fixed the situation. Freed Theodorus from a prison at level 20 with good skills. The next day I got the Air and Fire spell books. After that, everything became very simple. Theodorus with Birds in one direction, and Grindan with the whole army to take Dragon Utopias. A couple of turns later, Kyrre appeared and died from Armageddon... The Elves' setup was just awful...
