Town Points – Is development becoming too formulaic?

Yeah, the forum looks more like a marketplace! They've latched onto the point system! But it actually adds more tactics and variety to the building process. Before, I always developed using an old, well-established scheme, and I had another one as a backup. If there wasn't enough money for a necessary building, I had to skip a turn, but now I can build something else, and that won't hurt you in any way. Nival doesn't do anything spontaneously; if they introduced this, it means they tested it many times! And some people think it's useless just because it wasn't there before.
