That's what I was told, but not specifically by you.
I have nothing against a new world.
Let the gods in it be dragons.
Let there be no old heroes.
But let this new world live according to the laws of John Van Caneghem. The only thing Nival should have done was to preserve the Might and Magic universe. This means that dragons should have been created by the Lord of Air, and Inferno should have been created by the Krigans.
The game is called Heroes of Might and Magic V, not Heroes of Might and Magic New Age. Since there is a 5, it should follow the laws of the genre, not invent its own ideology.
What if, in the 3rd episode of Star Wars, Lucas had abandoned the Jedi and made a movie about terminators:eek: That's what Nival did with the heroes. It's not that difficult to fix the plot, but there's no desire to do so.
Damn, I love your posts!
"May Nival not build a Heavenly Kingdom!"
Maybe we should continue to abuse the editors? Hmm... The sequel to King's Bounty was created by one person, and from that, after a few years, his own world emerged.
What's stopping us?
