Are you delusional? No matter where the hero is or what he plans to take, there is no point in building Hives when you have your own double!!!! You'd barely have enough gold for your own stuff... for buildings and buying.
And what to build in your own double? The main strike stack, Troglodytes, are already built. Evil Eyes with Medusas, I think, are also already built, thankfully they are quite cheap. If a Dragon Utopia has been found, it is more logical to build Fire elementals with Hives for devouring it, rather than building more expensive and currently less needed Minotaurs or Cats.
