23.05.2013 Caution (red, Rampart, Roland, Nagash) def Myxomoar (blue, Conflux, Luna, Luna) Anarchy 121
I take Roland counting on a long game through diplomacy, next to the castle there's a Griffin Conservatory behind elves blocking the passage to the east. I go down to the underground and on turn 112 I take a secondary — Swamp. On the same turn, three enemy heroes emerge on top of my respawn and start causing mayhem)
I hastily bring my army back from the underground, leaving a couple of heroes there to gather abundant free loot. Roland has no spell book. Realizing that genie and fairy dragons can cause a lot of trouble without magic, with a tough trade I build a Mage Guild and buy Nagash, who kills an enemy hero with part of his army and heads to meet them.
115 — near the portal to the enemy there's a mana multiplier, Nagash rushes towards it, meanwhile Roland flies into the enemy respawn and takes their main.
116 — freshly built unicorns and horses are brought in, I search for the enemy's main hero.
117 — for some reason I attack 80+ behemoths at the enemy's respawn, wasting almost all my mana and part of my army.
121 — Luna arrives, takes back her main with growth and attacks, both Nagash and Luna have no mana, 6 genies, 50 fairy dragons, a few water elementals against 2 horses, unicorns, snakes, a pegasus, 20 sprites and 3 dendroids. The horses carried it)
Overall I played terribly, I was set on a long game and never expected to meet the opponent on the second turn.
On turn 112, Tamika gathers free loot in the bugged passage. Then follows a series of blunders on my part: sacrificed a hero with an army, wasted 20 extra fairy dragons on Luna's mummies, and so on. On turn 113 I take Inferno. Resources are decent, I get the idea to build Mage Guild level 4 and efreet. Then the opponent took my main and ran off to attack the behemoths. Trying to salvage the situation somehow, I rush to secure the growth, which isn't all that much. On turn 121 I take back my main with 20 fairy dragons and a wall of fire spell. Here's another mistake: I probably should have holed up in the main to refill mana, and then go after Nagash the next day, but...
In the final battle I left 1 unicorn and 3 dendroids. The only chance to win without mana was to try and catch them with bad morale, but frankly, I was too lazy)
Thanks for the game.
