The luck factor, of course, also influenced the outcome of the game. But Lady Luck helped both sides in this game approximately equally. We were unlucky in two moments: 1) at the beginning, we were watching Envy and killed her, not letting her complete her task, and therefore not getting any information; 2) the random element in Panic's ultimate ability was not very favorable. But otherwise, we were lucky.

If the mafia had accepted the execution without a fuss, the crow would have had a good chance to survive and kill a peaceful player. If it had triggered, the maniacs would have mistakenly killed the second peaceful player, and the game would have continued with 2 mafia and 3 votes, and 2 maniacs.

In my opinion, the mafia lost the game even before the execution incident. Yes, the scenario described was possible, but at that point, one could only rely on the infamous luck. Well, with the cancellation of the execution, there was also some kind of plan to win, but I didn't really understand/remember it.
