No, I just downloaded it through GamersGate. As far as I know, the keys there are activated digitally. And I also couldn't install the patch until I followed all the instructions. I don't think it makes a difference whether you download it from the Bookworm website or GamersGate; you need to download the digital version. If you bought the boxed version, you need the patch for the "boxed" version. The respected user, Pobeditel, provided links above.
