Shades of Darkness - Discussion

Hello again. I downloaded it for the digital version. I remember it clearly.

I have keys from BUKA. The game itself was purchased in a store with a regular key, and then I bought DELUXE keys online.
So, do I need to download the boxed patch?
And the most interesting thing is that the game doesn't automatically update when I launch it. Is that how it's supposed to be?
