Alessandro, your post made me smile :), take a closer look at the ongoing and recently completed tournaments. The previously accepted 8 or 10 minutes on the corresponding templates are already being reduced by 2 minutes in some cases, and they definitely won't increase in the near future, IMHO. I would turn your comparison in a different direction: a group of people are at a birthday party, and after the first shot, one of them, already quite tipsy, says, "How can you drink so much?" In my opinion, the approximate average time limit at the moment is optimal and will constantly fluctuate between 4 and 6, 6 and 8, and 8 and 10 minutes.
