Donar opened his eyes to the piercing crowing of an animal that had settled near the house. That damned bird. After yesterday’s battle, he would have preferred to sleep a little longer, and so he was somewhat annoyed. On the other hand, he had planned to set off for the Podi Peninsula today, and he wanted to leave early.
Having finished his morning chores, which included breakfast that he prepared for himself without asking permission, he thanked the owner of the house for his hospitality and informed him that he was leaving.
