Map description.
My friend and I love playing on huge maps for a very long time (more than a day of gameplay), where there are many artifacts, dragon utopias, and strong mobs. Usually, we create our ideal hero and then have a final, epic battle. The map has many different secrets and opportunities to develop your hero, but the higher the reward, the stronger its guardian. Defeating some enemies will seem like madness to you. A sea of opportunities (challenges) to create the greatest hero is the main feature of this map.
It took about a month to create the map (dozens of hours). I will be glad to receive your comments. I put my heart and soul into this map; I hope you like it :)
***Some hints***
1) Near the starting cities, there is a weakly guarded "Mercenary Camp." Mercenaries are very helpful in clearing out neutral camps.
2) Near the starting cities, there is a "Portal to City" scroll.
3) The entrance from the starting location to others is guarded by a portal guardian. The type of guardian hints at which Faction the location behind the portal is intended for.
4) The red player can teleport to the locations of Demons, Gnomes, Orcs, and Forest Elves. The blue player can teleport to the locations of Necropolis, Mages, Humans, and Dark Elves.
This is done so that heroes cannot take bonuses from buildings that the other player cleared from neutrals.
The "teleport" spell is unavailable for the same reason.
5) The path to the opponent lies through the central Sanctuary, the portal to which is guarded by phoenixes for each player.
*** Update 03/01/2015. I hope someone still plays Heroes 5 besides me.
Giving Necropolis castles turned out to be too much; now, instead, there are skeletons. In any case, Necropolis replenishes its ranks very well even without them.
The water location looks a little better, but not much.
There may still be minor flaws in the game, for example, you cannot pick up a chest; in general, they do not affect anything.
