Well, you exited on day 124, not on the same day, and by the time you attacked, I had already used half of my moves. So, basically, I had two extra days thanks to the red color. As for the nuances, if there hadn't been Fanatics, I wouldn't have been able to defeat the Efreet and gain control. I would have turned around and gone to kill you faster because I had better stats and more troops, plus I had built up my health. So, it would have been a one-sided victory; no one was saving anyone, it just seemed that way to you.
