What’s the big deal? :)
Fleeing, buying back, and continuing the move is one of the standard and permissible strategies in the game. If he resigned, then it’s clear that he can only move on the next day, but if he fled, what’s the problem? :)
I’m explaining it for the second time with a very detailed example:
Hero 1, with a good army and 2 extra movement points, attacks the monsters guarding the mine, then captures an enemy Castle, and then a village!
After capturing the village, Hero 1 has very few movement points left :(, and on this day, he really wants to do many more good things (defeat 3 more opponent heroes, take 1 mine and a Castle). He sees that a nasty computer-controlled hero is hanging around nearby, and it doesn’t matter how strong he is!!!
Here’s the main trick of this BUG in Hero 1:
This Hero 1 attacks this computer-controlled hero, damages him a little with magic, and then FLEES or BUYS HIMSELF BACK with his entire army!
Then everything is simple:
We enter the Castle that was just captured and BUY BACK the FLEEING or BUYING-BACK HERO!
And what do we see... HE IS HEALTHY AGAIN, AND ALL HIS MOVEMENT POINTS HAVE BEEN REPLENISHED, AS IF IT WERE THE DAY HE WAS PURCHASED!
And we defeat this computer-controlled hero, from whom we fled a minute ago, capture mines, Castles, etc., attack a computer-controlled hero (already a different one :D) and again FLEE, BUY OURSELVES BACK, and so on until the enemy is completely destroyed!
i.e., in one day, if there is enough gold!
This is the bug I was talking about above, dear AmberSoler!:smile13:
This bug is NOT present in Heroes 3!
