I don't need Titans or Mages! I need Golems and Dragons... Golems are harder to kill, and we have enough archers!

I agree about Golems. But Titans are almost always better, especially when defending from a Tower. Although Dragon-Golems can also be useful. Especially if the opponent is playing as Necropolis and you need to counter hordes of vampires. Against them, even the great and terrible super-archer Titans are powerless.
