HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

As an alternative to passwords, I would suggest copying the MAC addresses of the network cards of both computers and embedding them in the save file. When loading the save file, if the MAC addresses match, load it without a password; if any MAC address differs (e.g., started at work, continues at home), prompt for a password. And passwords would still be needed when viewing save files after the game is over. Something like that; the idea can be developed further.
