I haven't encountered that. Try reducing the speed in the settings, perhaps... And it should be noted that it's not necessarily a bad thing; the animations are interesting to watch at first, but then you'll still want to save time ;) Otherwise, you set the speed to maximum, but the heroes don't move instantly; they think for a couple of seconds, and that's a shame.
The settings are all normal, but the game feels accelerated; everything reacts very quickly. I've downloaded several versions, and the same problem occurs in all of them.
