I apologize for butting in, but... Regarding the betting format, there's a simple and effective option that has been used successfully for a long time in Football Manager: 1. All participants make a preliminary, one-time contribution of a certain amount (determined by the organizer). 2. Everyone who has made the preliminary contribution has the right to place bets on ANY match after the pairings are announced, with ANY outcome. 3. Points are calculated on a scale of 1 point for a correct prediction and 0 points for an incorrect prediction (the only difference from football is that a draw is extremely unlikely. This is basically the only downside I see). 4. The winner is determined based on the results of all rounds. 5. Payouts are made as follows: First place: 50% of the prize pool Second place: 30% of the prize pool Third place: 10% of the prize pool P.S. With these rules, everyone must submit their predictions in the general chat before the games begin. P.P.S. The prize pool is formed from the number of paid entries (10% goes to the tournament organizer for their work). I've described the only downside; now, let's talk about the advantages (and yes, there's a second downside: mandatory prepayment). 1. No one is obligated to do anything on time or not. Miss the moment, miss the money. 2. Even if you miss a chance to place a bet, you still have a chance to win if you have enough successful previous rounds. 3. No corruption or collusion. 4. A crystal-clear system, no private messages or anything like that. 5. The organizer always comes out on top, so anyone with time and resources can be the organizer. 6. No hassle with creating odds. 7. No re-buys or other hassles. 8. The organizer can add any amount they deem necessary to the prize pool. Those were the obvious advantages; there are also some less obvious ones, and the format is open to constructive criticism. And yes, all of this is more suitable for a second Bob... I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I would consider allowing bets not only within the Bob, but also on any matches in official tournaments.

And yes, the most important thing... With enough participants and an organizer, this system will work in ANY tournament.
