We used to play Heroes II and even Heroes I, and there were many other games. But nobody complained. Everyone was on equal footing.

Let me explain it in simpler terms... this is quite a prestigious tournament... at least it used to be, where people tried to win, or at least get close to the top, by demonstrating their skill in playing, planning moves, and so on. But those stupid 200% bonuses on a rather unstable template ruin that, leaving everyone in your "equal conditions." I would call it a chance for a newbie... just like M200 in general.
