Comment regarding the "shifted guard" rule: Using ranged attacks, flight, and wings does not give you the right to freely take/visit objects mentioned in the "shifted guard" rule. I simply thought this was a standard interpretation of the rules, but discussions revealed that it is not. Added 17 minutes later. Regarding the number of ranged attacks, the standard interpretation is also that in "Shades of Darkness," you can use 1 ranged attack per day, and in "The Succession Wars," you can use as many as you are given.
