The game was excellent. For the first time playing Jebus Cross, already in the first week I realized I wouldn't get out before 131. GO - a horde of sultans on one road and a double GO from a pack of blacks and a horde of war uwyns on the other.
Money was fine, but the respawn was huge and it wasn't clear how to gather everything quickly.
In week 1, I built 2 mini Griffin Conservatories, 3 mini Dragon Fly Hives, and 1 for 6 Wyverns. I discovered 5 external Minotaur dwellings, but never took any of them because they were scattered.
I built levels 1-6 in the castle.
In the second week, I started building magic in the secondary Rampart. I also took a Griffin Conservatory for 2 angels. I revealed the native center with a scout, where the red orb lies near the library, a helmet +6 to all, a couple of Pandora's Boxes, and the Dungeon castle itself.
For the entire second week, I ran around capturing the external Minotaur dwellings via chains. I found bracers at the external black market, and fought for resources for the mage guild.
In the mage guild, neither Dimension Door, Town Portal, nor Fly — no combat magic at all, just Mirror Image.
I build the guild in Dungeon — Mirror Image there too.
Hope was in scrolls; fighting for them, I got Fly, Implosion, and Armageddon.
But on day 126, I see Tazar taking the central Dungeon castle; on day 127, he fights a Pandora's Box for a throng of Pit Lords, takes it, and runs to the library for the red orb. He broke through the guard but didn't reach the library or the orb.
On day 131, I buy everything and break through the double GO, max out Pathfinding, take the red orb, and visit the library, where I stayed, because I can't attack with the growth.
Stats: 19 16 7 (35)
4 angels, 10 manticores, 40 troglodytes, 30 evil eyes, 20 medusa queens, 49 minotaurs, and 18 wyverns. I have Mass Haste, so I don't wear the orb.
Tazar's stats show 8 13 5 5, lots of monarchs, dragonflies, several angels, several dragons (from the Pandora's Box for the pits).
On his turn, Tazar turns around and runs to the helmet +6 to all, scouted by a scout hero near the castle. But I see him too and I have Fly, so on day 132 I take it right from under Tazar's nose, only lacking a couple of tiles to attack. Tazar crashes into the black market guard and runs out of the center. In the third castle, they also didn't give Town Portal; no more scrolls are visible. Then I cleared the center a bit, chased Tazar around the green zone, and eventually found a scroll with Dimension Door; long story short, I left Tazar without castles and cornered him in the center, never finding a single Utopia.
