In Might and Magic 2, it looks good, but the flute sticking out of its neck spoils the impression.
In Might and Magic 3, it looks more like some kind of slime.
In Might and Magic 4, it resembles a demonic sea serpent, but overall it looks good.
In Might and Magic 5, it looks excellent, like a master of the sea, a creature directly connected to water.
In the second Heroes game, it looks more like a stone golem than a water creature.
In Might and Magic 6, it looks more like a Triton/mermaid.
In Might and Magic 7, 8, and the third Heroes game, it also resembles a mermaid.
In the fourth Heroes game, it looks like a giant slug.
In the fifth game, it's done perfectly; nothing bad can be said about it.
In the sixth game, when you see some creatures, you wonder: how do they even manage to fight? In the other parts, even in Might and Magic 1, the elemental looks like a warrior ready for battle, but in the sixth game, it looks like... In general, I didn't like the elemental in the sixth game.
