Dear experienced players, and those like them, who withdraw from tournaments due to "loss of motivation," please forgive me, but I think it's not right to act this way. We, the newcomers, are thoroughly vetted before being accepted into a tournament; we are asked all sorts of questions, etc. And you, after losing 1-2 games, already say that there's no point in playing, there's no motivation. Why did you even sign up in the first place? And why did people like me sign up? Just for the statistics? We, for example, also want to play against serious players, but such games are only possible within the framework of a tournament, and you are depriving us of this opportunity, at the very least. And then there will be all sorts of questions like, "Look who made it to the finals, how could they?" when you withdrew. And besides, there's a corresponding clause in the rules about tournaments. It's just not right, in my opinion.
P.S. Once again, I apologize for my audacity.
I agree!
Withdrawing from a tournament due to "loss of motivation" is the worst thing you can do. Or, if your motivation is gone, then withdraw and good riddance! Why do you sign up again the next day? It's just disgusting to watch all this whiny bunch of "experienced players." :smile48:
What I love about newcomers is that they play for the sake of the game, they win/lose, they learn, they enjoy it, and they don't put on airs about themselves.
During my time on the forums, I haven't withdrawn from a single tournament because that's the last thing I would do. Even opening a map isn't as shameful as running away from the battlefield after the first slap.
And, by the way, we have a penalty in our blacklist for withdrawing from tournaments. I don't know what we're waiting for; a ban for six months to a year would be just right for those who have lost their motivation.
