The Mafia won't let it happen, but I'll say what I've figured out.
With Ment, the arguments are the same. And I'm still confident in him (although now I doubt it much more, read about it below). Vespers is getting nervous and generally behaving strangely. I still think she's just Mafia (with a small probability that she's a converted villager, but without information, I'll leave this option in the back of my mind). And she's not needed by me, because then it's 100% a loss. And she's not needed by you, because you can't redirect the wound, and you definitely won't be able to kill her.
