Strange love.

In the case of France, I don't like the fact that they were talking about replacing the words "mom" and "dad" with "parent 1" and "parent 2." This is as silly as when they recently banned such a beautiful word as "mademoiselle." Although this is related to feminists, who have also gone too far. Okay, there are serious situations where there is real discrimination or violation of rights. But lately, it has started to reach absurdity, with too much fanaticism appearing in these movements, and people are coming up with so many stupid things that it only worsens the attitude towards them.
As for the adoption of children, I haven't fully made up my mind on this issue yet. I've heard different opinions about it, even that children in same-sex couples are more likely to attempt suicide. In any case, the main thing is to consider the child's wishes, if he is, of course, already capable of thinking and distinguishing. By the way, I also heard that only 5% (or so) of homosexual couples in France want to adopt a child. That is, they were simply seeking rights, a change of words, but almost no one is going to take children.
