Harpoon gunners are Atlanteans with harpoons.
Atlantean is a lizard from the third tier.
Nereid is a water elemental from the third tier, but with a shooting staff, and can also cast spells.
Shrimp is a giant shrimp in armor (with shoulder pads and a helmet).
Flying fish is an Atlantean riding a flying fish.
Palifico is a warrior created from coral.
Sea Devil is a giant snake with ears (like the lizards in the third tier) and whale whiskers.

Nereids (Ancient Greek: Νηρηίδες) are sea deities in Greek mythology, daughters of Nereus and the Oceanid Doris.

1. Perhaps not harpoon gunners, but harpooners.
2. Maybe make the Atlanteans look like humans, but just pale, tall humans with gills and webbing on their hands and feet (like Harry Potter from "Goblet of Fire" when he ate the gillyweed)?
3. The shrimp idea is great, but maybe choose a different name?
4. How about not duplicating water elementals, sea spirits, etc. with Nereids? Maybe make them like ancient Greek warrior goddesses ("sea Athena Pallada")?
5. Maybe not "flying fish," as it doesn't match the description, but "flying rider"?
6. And what about making the architecture in the style of ancient Greek ruins under a submerged dome? How does that sound?

All of the above is my opinion and suggestion.
