Poll: Preferences when choosing skills in Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

For some reason, I don't really like the tactic...

In general, tactics are a very useful thing. They add speed to units, and this gives you a chance to strike first. (If you have champions, for example, they will reach the enemy and deal a lot of damage... or you can cast "first strike" on a fast unit with one hero, plus the speed bonus from the Tactics skill). And when moving around the map, tactics can "save" you.
