Why are you so eager to defend boors, anti-Semites, and neo-Nazis instead of protecting people from them?

Well, it's already been explained. Boors are only defended by their friends, which is normal. As for anti-Semites and neo-Nazis, I personally haven't seen any fervent defenders of Ariputra in this thread. Perhaps his posts were treated with undue leniency, but not because people agree with him, but simply because no one here takes him seriously, or at least most of those who were involved in the dialogue.
