Here is how I see Timkhan's biography. Restless – that's the best way to describe this mage in one word. Timkhan never stayed in one place; he conducted various studies, traveled to Grimheim and Irolann, met with other scientists, and organized expeditions. However, he soon realized that he didn't have enough time, so he decided to conduct a risky experiment. The mage performed an ancient ritual that allowed him to alter the flow of time. Now that the war has begun, the silver cities are glad to have such a warrior, as they will be able to save the lives of many soldiers.
