I just leveled Grindan to level 5 and then it all took off! :)
On the first week, I captured my native village via demons, captured an external dwelling of Monks and am recruiting from them.
On the second week, full upgrade, buyout, captured Hat +4, Cuirass +1 to all, Mace +4, 2 Dragon Fly Hives (6+8), double Griffin Conservatory, Boots. On 132 with Mass Curse and Shield and Stone Skin I kill Thunis in my capital.
