I just defended a level 5 Grindan and then it took off! :)
On the first map, I even captured a native dwelling via demons, at home I captured an external dwelling of monks and am rebuilding them.
On the second map, full upgrade, buyout, I captured the +4 hat, +1 All cuirass, +4 mace, 2 Dragon Fly Hives (6+8), level 2 Griffin Conservatory, boots. With Mass Curse and Shield with Stone Skin on turn 132, I kill Turis in my own capital.
